Fast spreading viruses, Brain structure & Risk behaviour and Bear diets


I wrote the 'Lab Notes' section in the Discover section of The New Review, part of The Observer newspaper, which was published today.

1) Scientists have found that viruses can contaminate a whole building from a single door handle within two hours.

2) Brain structure could reveal why some people take more risks than others.

3) Grizzly bears start to eat healthily after a local national park take the rubbish out.
