BBC Science in Action: Making bricks out of recycled plastic


The monsoon season in South East Asian countries affects thousands of village homes that are made from clay or straw every year. But, Lise Fuglsang Vestergaard, an engineer working closely with the charities InnoAid and Joygopalpur Gram Vikash Kendra in the West of Bengal, is working on a project to create bricks from waste plastic, which is currently a problem in India.
