WHO reveals scale of foodborne disease


Africa and South East Asia are suffering the most at the hands of foodborne diseases according to new figures released by the World Health Organisation. Out of the 420,000 people that die from contaminated food each year, a whopping 125,000 are said to be children under five, and most deaths are a result of Diarrhoeal diseases.
