Can automated tools reliably rate research reproducibility?


Recently the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) solicited research proposals on developing automated tools that assign confidence levels to published research, as part of its ‘Systematizing Confidence in Open Research and Evidence’ (SCORE) initiative. I spoke to Adam Russell, a program manager at the agency, about the project and what DARPA hopes comes out of it. The full article was published at Nature Index.
