Research on research gains steam


The use of scientific methodology to study science itself is called metascience. The discipline, which has become mainstream in recent years, got a new boost from the launch of the Research on Research Institute (RoRI) in London on 30 September. RoRI plans to tackle some of the thorniest problems science faces, including a lack of reproducibility of academic literature, biases in peer review, and the fair allocation of research funding. the full article was published at C&EN Magazine.
